Have you ever seen a cat be in a deep sleep and then suddenly wake up and start ferociously bathing? I wonder why that is?
Are they sleep bathing?
Does their dirt suddenly wake them up?
Is it possible that I have been hallucinating?

That is so funny! I have noticed that a lot about cats. It is like they need to compulsively bathe when they are startled awake! :)
I think they have been having filthy dreams! :)
