Sisters Gone Wild - Third Installment

The Accommodations

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express - Bridgeview and were highly impressed. We had a "Mini-Suite" on the 4th floor Club level. I am not sure what a full suite looks like, but our Mini Suite equaled a large bedroom with a TV and private balcony. A sitting room with a TV, balcony, desk, pull out sofa bed, small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, etc. We also had a nice bathroom complete with phone and TV & remote!!! Becky wondered if either of us would utilize the Bathroom TV and I said "you better believe it." They give us a TV, I will use the TV. I want to get my money's worth. Speaking of which, we got a phenomenal internet rate on this sweet set-up which just made us feel all the more proud.

The 4th Floor Club Level was an Allergy-Free (don't really know what that means, but it sells) and a Smoke-Free floor that only allowed people on it that actually were staying on that floor. When you were on the elevator, it wouldn't let you select the 4th floor unless you swiped your key. Another novelty, but it made us feel important.

Our housekeepers were great and left our towels crafted in various animal shapes and were so pleasant to talk to when we passed in the halls. The accents were a little tough (they were Jamaican), but we figured each other out. They especially liked our hair. "you curly man, you curly" and then one person asked to touch Becky's!

Our complimentary Continental Breakfasts included the traditional faire, along with Sausage Gravy & Biscuits (not a fan), Cheesy Omelets, and their famous hot Cinnamon Rolls which were extremely delicious. Did you know that they actually sell those on their web site now!

We didn't have outrageous shenanigans, but we did consider running up and down the 4th floor pushing each other on the luggage cart. It never got past the consideration stage, however.

I did try to eavesdrop on the loud conversations of the ladies who were in the room next to us, but I couldn't quite figure it out. There was alot of laughing however!

P.S.
Contrary to Jen's taste buds, the biscuits and sausage gravy were delicious although not quite as good as our Dad's.
