Ode to Mr. Clean and His Magic Eraser.

The time has come to share with you how much I adore the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. This is not just infatuation, it is the real thing. I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. I mean, a sponge is a sponge is a sponge, right? No sense in wasting money on a "new sponge" Ahh, how naive I was. Mr. Clean had the smarts to send me a free sample. I am all about free samples, so I thought that I would give it a try. Shock and amazement pursued. With little effort and no cleaning solution, a nasty mark on the floor disappeared. I tried something else, same result. I started running through the house cleaning anything that I came in contact with (sorry Acorn, I should have known better.) Then the miracles of miracles...our sunroom floor. It has always had a sort of grayish pallor to it and scrub as hard as we might, we could not get it clean . We finally convinced ourselves that it really wasn't a white floor. A little swipe with the Magic Eraser and beautiful, beautiful white!!! Daniel was as amazed as I was and we fought over who got to clean the next area. I left a little part in our sunroom dirty for days just so I could show off the Before and After effect to anyone and everyone that wandered into our house. This was over a year ago and the magic still continues. There are certain things that the Eraser works better on than others, such as textured surfaces, but still amazing.

Well, I felt it only fair when I first discovered this to call Mr. Clean and thank him. He apparently was busy, but I spoke with one of his elves and she was very glad to hear my praise and offered me free coupons, which again was wonderful. I also suggested that Mr. Clean start working on a Mop which would save my knees and keep me indebted forever. Lo and Behold, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Mop hit the market a few weeks ago. Since this is my blog and fantasy world I am going to choose to believe that I was the inspiration for this wonderful product and because I care about the betterment of mankind, I am not going to demand any royalties. I purchased my new mop this weekend and tried it out yesterday. There are some design changes I might suggest for the future, but all in all, much better than being on my hands and knees. Enjoy everyone!!!!

Ahhhh, Jen is back. Yes, Mr. Clean has a wonderful, magical eraser. And you really do relish free samples.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. They are coming more readily again. Have a good one.

By the way, I've invited about everyone we know (you'll see the email) to what you invited Erica and myself to. Hope you don't mind. Let me know if you'll be able to go!
