Cheers and Jeers

If you ever read T.V. Guide, you'll know where I got this idea from...

CHEERS to Cadelyn Mleland for being daring enough to take a fashion risk with the Elmo slippers. She worked it out and I expect all the hip and cool little ones to be wearing them this season.

JEERS to my body. I know that I am "fearfully and wonderfully made", but sometimes I get stuck on the fearfully part. What's the big idea of waking me up at 3 a.m. and keeping my brain racing all the time. (I am talking to my body, not God. I know that I can talk to God that way, but I probably won't broadcast it here.)

CHEERS to our newest woodland creature, Speedy the Squirrel. We have never had squirrels at this residence, so he is a bit of a novelty. Throw in the fact that he is of some miniature variety and is as fast as lightening and you have some good times. I can't help but smile watching him "hide" thousands of walnuts around our place. You should have seen him after the snow. What a hoot!

JEERS to the contractor that hasn't returned any of my calls for an estimate. I understand that he is probably very busy and may even have an emergency, but I am disappointed and concerned on what to do about getting a new water system this season. Our window of opportunity may have been shut with these cold temperatures.

CHEERS to my everloving husband and his new idea to help me with whatever I want from 7:00 -8:00 p.m. Cleaning is so much more fun with another person involved and it never hurts for the other person to be your adorable, hunky husband.

JEERS to my brain for getting too concerned too easily...

CHEERS to Christmas bulbs and ribbon. They are the most fun things to decorate with !!

Enough for today...watch for future installments.
Merry Early Christmas.

Had to chuckle when you said that your "fearfully and wonderfully made" body got stuck on the fearfully part. I can relate sometimes when my mind races so far ahead of my typing or writing ability - but it doesn't normally keep me up. I usually toss and turn for 8 to 10 seconds before I finally drop off - totally disguating to my wife. :) ec

It's also 'disgusting' when I don't check my spelling before I post a comment. ec
